Mike VanderVat joined Finix Business Strategies as a Partner in July 2009. He is responsible for day-to-day management of several key client relationships, as well as overseeing the technical initiatives for Finix.
Mr. VanderVat has broad expertise in business strategy, technical development and management and corporate communications and serves as a key member of the executive management team.
Prior to joining Finix, Mike served as Director of Investment Technology Services for Legg Mason. His primary responsibilities included the planning, development and management of all core investment management systems.
Mike co-founded and served as President of Veneratio, a software development consulting firm from 2000-2004. At Veneratio, Mr. VanderVat was responsible for general corporate management and strategy, sales and marketing, business development, contract negotiation and recruiting. From 1995 – 2000, Mike served as the Chief Operating Officer for Eye Street Software and worked for Accenture from 1992-1995.
Mike holds a B.S. in Accounting/Information Systems from University of Maryland, College Park.
